He has been awarded OV Jooma Gold Medal by the Pakistan Society of Neurosurgery for his pioneering work in neuroendoscopy at JPMC Karachi. He is currently working as Consultant Neurosurgeon. Previously he worked as Director Gamma Knife Radiosurgery at Neurospinal & Cancer Care Institute of Pakistan for 13 years(2008-2021).
