Gamma Knife Radiosurgery for Craniopharyngioma
Case Summary:
22 years male from Quetta, presented with complaints of headache with nausea for 5 months and blurring of vision for few days. Patient has no history of surgery, radiation & chemotherapy. On clinical examination, patient has blurred vision.
Follow up Comparative Study after 6 months:
Patient visited the gamma knife center for the first routine follow up, presented with improved symptoms and good clinical health.
Recent MRI scans dated August 16,2023 shows siginificant reduction in the targeted SOL , consistent with ongoing good response to GKSRS therapy.
Follow up Comparative Study after 1 year:
Patient consulted the GKSRS Clinic with complete resolved symptoms and good health.
Recent MRI scans dated November 25,2024 shows almost complete resolution of targeted SOL with only small residual disease , no further growth , consistenet with good ongoing tumor control.
